| Though Kirk expressed some doubt
about getting married in a backyard garden, we can confirm that it
was beautiful and very special.
After arrival, we spent time taking pictures, and getting to
know Howie.
We took some lovely pictures across the street on the beach. Finally it was time for vows. Contrary to Kirk's vision of a 20-minute affair, it took nearly 3 hours. |

We enjoyed an excellent dinner at the Hau Tree Lanai at the New Otani Hotel. Outdoor dinning in December on the beach! Tiki torches in full flame. It was beautiful even though the wedding cake turned out to be pear-filled rather than strawberry!

| The next day most guests headed
back to the mainland. Larry
and Brett stayed on in Waikiki, Kirk and I traveled to Maui, where
we spent 3 days at the Maui Kaanapali Villas.
In all, a perfect wedding.
